How on earth should I get my hair cut? (curly hair(pictures))? (Answers: 4) (Comments: 0)
I've been wanting to get my hair cut for months now. It has just gotten out of hand now, it look terrible all the time so I just resort into tying it up. The thing is, I have big waves and ringlets which are natural in my hair. I do like curly hair, but mine is just horrible. it always just looks messy and disgusting.
I used to have shorter layers, which i did like... and a side fringe. I grew my fringe out and now push it to the side, which i like as it kind of gives shape to my face more. The layers are grown out now and just look silly.

So how do you think I should get it cut? Long layers, short layers, feathered, thinned, how many layers, WHAT?! (oh and i don't want it cut like a bob or anything... i've have it done, trust me it looks bad)

My hair is naturally curly. Although it seems to have the best curls in the summer when i dont straighten it as much. Any suggestions on how to keep my curls and still be able to straighten it whenever?

I'm 50 percent chinese, 50 percent vietnamese and ended up getting curly hair like no other. (:
i really don't know how to style it. it's so hard managing it as well.
any tips? what can i do?

I want to straighten my hair tomorrow morning. I do not know how to make my hair look sleek, healthy and shiny. My hair is SUPER CURLY [picture below] & I don't know what to do with it anymore. Any tips on what to do prior straightening curly hair?

For Christmas this year (I know its early but I want an idea of what to buy) for my younger sister I'm going to make something like a "beauty box". She's 14 years old and is really into hair products. I'm going to get a pretty box and fill it up with hair products, face products, and make-up. Her hair type is very different from mine so I'm not sure what hair products to buy. She'll use almost any brand really, but I would prefer brands that can be bought in stores like Aussie, Herbal Essences, etc. I'm looking for shampoo and conditioner, hairspray, gel, heat protector, frizz serum, etc. Anything really.
She has dirty blond hair that has been color treated in the past. She dyed it brown and then went back blond and now she puts blond highlights in her hair. Her hair is past her shoulders, so pretty long, and it is VERY thick and coarse. And it is VERY curly naturally. She scrunches it a lot, but also straightens as well. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks guys. I'll include pictures of her hair if that will help any.
